
Marc Huntoon MD
Marc Huntoon, MD is a native of Michigan and graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. He was selected for the Armed Forces Medical Scholarship Program and served on active duty in the United States Navy from 1986-1993. While in the Navy, he completed his Anesthesiology residency, an obstetric anesthesia “fellowship” at Wake Forest and thereafter was the first armed forces trained pain fellow (Portsmouth Naval Medical Center). Throughout his career, Dr. Huntoon has taken on multiple leadership roles for ASA, ASRA, NANS, and AAPM. He is national leader in neuromodulation techniques including spinal cord, peripheral nerve & dorsal root ganglion stimulation procedures, ultrasound interventions, and is skilled in most interventional spine techniques. Dr. Huntoon comes to Michigan Pain Consultants with board certifications in both Pain Management and Anesthesiology.
